The NACC invites you to come perform (or just listen to) live music & spoken word, recorded inside our Grand Theater as part of our “Sonic 2nd-Sundays” music series. These “Open Mic (Recording) Sessions” are intended to be inclusive, building connections between musicians, singers, poets and storytellers for a supportive audience & our social media followers. The audience will sit ON the stage around the performers, creating an immersive and unique sonic experience for all.
Our goal is to create an original live recording project, while cultivating creativity & building a community where participants have an opportunity to try out new material in a supportive and friendly environment. We expect to attract people of various ages/experience levels with different musical & poetic styles. It’s also an opportunity for artists to record a high-quality version of their performance on a stage with an audience – for FREE.
Email dave@thenacc.org if you have questions.
