The Niagara Arts & Cultural Center is hosting an afternoon of music and tribute to honor Marva Kincannon Frails. Ms. Frails was the first black music teacher in the Niagara Falls Public School system.
Her life was dedicated to music and the students she taught, as well as her church family at New Hope Baptist where for many years she was the Minister of Music. She was posthumously inducted into the Niagara Falls Music Hall of Fame in 2022 and her legacy lives on in the many students and people she touched with music.
Helping us to honor Ms. Frails are the NFHS Jazz Choir, the Niagara Falls Community Choir, and the New Hope Baptist Choir. Kim Webster will also present a plaque dedication.
Join us for this tribute!
