Have you ever wanted to try animation but aren’t sure how? Do you not have the materials, hardware, and software at home? Come try analog animation! In this class, you’ll learn the most important parts of telling a story through animation by creating your own flipbook with a pencil and paper! There is plenty of room for creativity and exploration of your own ideas! First, we will learn the most important principles of animation, and then work at structuring your story and animation in order to make it clear to your audience! The rest of the time will be spent working on your animation, with guidance and help along the way.

You do not need to be great at drawing, or have any experience with drawing or animation to come along and have fun! Materials will be provided by the NACC, and you’ll come away with your own project to inspire you in future animations!
