2022 Artists of Color Exhibit
February 6, 2022 - March 19, 2022
Free
In celebration of Black History month, the Niagara Arts and Cultural Center (NACC) is proud to announce our 11th Annual Artists of Color Exhibition, to run February 6 – March 19, 2022 in the Townsend Gallery of the NACC, located at 1201 Pine Ave, Niagara Falls, NY 14301.
This exhibit is envisioned as a representation of the African American experience from a contemporary and personal perspective, and celebrates the work by African American Artists in Western New York in the visual arts.
“The NACC provides a much needed venue for showcasing the artistic talents of WNY & the Niagara Frontier, and serves as a beacon of opportunity for young artists of color.” Robertson said. “Some of the people who enter this show may never have been included in an art gallery before. Here they mingle with seasoned professionals, and hopefully everyone experiences something meaningful.”
The exhibition will also feature free admission to the Niagara Arts and Cultural Center’s ”Freedom Crossing” Underground Railroad exhibit in the NACC Heritage Gallery, sponsored by the Niagara Falls National Heritage Area.
The Townsend and Kudela Galleries at the NACC are free and open to the public Monday – Sunday from 12:00pm – 5:00pm. Guided Tours are available by calling 716-282-7530.
