At Water’s Edge: Traditional Turkish Paper Arts provides an introduction into the traditional arts of Turkish Paper Marbling and Turkish Paper Cutting through the ebru and kat’ı sanatı works of Hatice Erbas-Sorkunlu, an ebru artist based in Buffalo.
Opening March 18th, 5-7 PM
Stephen Marc, a noted African American photographer and digital montage artist, has spent nearly a decade on the road in the U.S. and Canada documenting the places and people associated with North America’s Underground Railroad. This network of secret routes and safe houses used by escaping enslaved African Americans is the subject of The Passage on the Underground Railroad. Exhibit opens May 11, 2019.

The NACC Gallery Committee is seeking works for the 15th Annual Beyond the Barrel Exhibition. This year’s theme centers on Niagara’s Legacy as the “PowerCity”, inspired by the development of hydroelectric technology in Niagara Falls, which involved such names as Edison, Tesla, Westinghouse and Kelvin and heralded a transformation in American life.
The NACC Gallery Committee is pleased to announce our first annual Emerging Artists Exhibit. This juried exhibit welcomes emergent artists of all ages throughout Western New York working in traditional and nontraditional mediums.

From 6-9 p.m. Friday, March 8, craft beer lovers and supporters of neighborhood revitalization, and those who appreciate great food and music, will pack the Niagara Arts and Cultural Center for the 13th annual “Art of Beer” fundraiser. More than 60 craft brewers and chefs will line the halls of the former Niagara Falls High School, 1201 Pine Ave., as it is transformed for a night into a beer lover’s paradise.
